Breakfast today was the usual:
Unfortunately, I can only get the usual two more times.
Lunch was, on the other hand, extraordinary.
To celebrate the end of our course, on of my fellow students, a French professor (as in teaches French, not a professor who is French), took us out to lunch:
I got Fettucini al limone, which was a beautifully simple dish, with pasta and a lemon flavored white sauce. Delicious.
Other popular dishes were: Gnocchi (in the colors of the Italian flag)
For desert (with coffee) we had tiramisù. Also delicious. Fun fact: the guy who invented tiramisù lives in Baltimore.
Dinner was just bread and cheese.
